"Established 112 years ago, the Colonial Development Corporation (CDC) is a fully insured and bonded conglomerate under the Authority. Their mission includes efficient sector administration in challenging and diverse underprivileged regions of Authority development and exploration. Freeing Authority manpower for more urgent missions, the CDC brings over 1M people together across 53 parsecs of Sector 23 for the task of effective and cost-conscious world management. CDC programs include routine world administration and justice programs as well as direct planetary control directives. CDC personel also form a vital support arm for both Authority service branches, the Intersteller Scouts Corp, and the Navy including but not limited to logistics, human resources, base maintenance, and staff entertainment."
